SECURITY |
 |
Security is the largest single expenditure in the ICA budget because of its importance to the community. We are fortunate that our location and security program have resulted in a very low incidence of crime in our community. However, any incident is unwelcome and it is important to be aware of the elements of our security program that help keep Ironwood safe.
- Ironwood security can be reached at 760.346.4627. Please phone in day passes for family and guest visits and occasional service personnel.
- All contractors, vendors and service people who are in Ironwood more than 5 days in a month must have specially registered transponders that limit their access during service hours. Every day, hundreds of outside people enter Ironwood and it is essential that these entries be monitored. Please note: It is against policy for homeowner’s to lend their transponders to service personnel. See the Contractor and Vendor Policy for details.
- Residents are the first line defense against opportunistic thefts. Please keep your car, home and garage doors locked. Too often we take for granted the comfort of gated community living. Please be diligent in security matters.
- Security incidents and alerts are posted on Channel 98 when they occur for the information of homeowners. Please consult Channel 98 regularly for both community and Ironwood Country Club information.
- Gate cameras enhance security by providing a visual record of all vehicles entering and exiting Ironwood – vehicles, drivers and license plates. These cameras are monitored from both the main guardhouse and remote locations. Digital, time-stamped recordings are made of all cameras 24/7, providing real time and historical records.
